Work in progress, matte painting week
This week we have Anne Laure from France teaching digital painting. This is a scene we got from Lucky Luke that we are working on for a couple of days. We learn how to block in color fields, play with warm and cool colors to define depth and tension and so on.
Today, we were to start from scratch with our own composition, so far so good I guess. I am going to leave this until after the exam now, I still need to do some normal mapping and texture mapping before next week.

Female model
Well, this is the body of my Sean Young character, still missing a head. But I like the shape, and it is different form the earlier models I have done.

Birdie model turnaround
So I am finishing texturing the last models for my showreel. This is the vulture model from the autumn 2009 that still missed some nice textures.

Quadruped Otis in the UK
This is the last render of Otis. I put up the brightness of the ambient occlusion render in Fusion, and he is standing out a lot more now than earlier. I also toned down the reflection on the ground.
